Expanding Educational Reach, FF UNAIR Promotes Master's and Doctoral Programs in Bali

FF UNAIR conducted promotional activities for its Postgraduate Study Programs, covering master’s and doctoral levels, in the Singaraja area of Buleleng Regency, Bali, on Friday, October 23, 2026. All activities took place at STIKES Buleleng, targeting academics, pharmacists, and health professionals in Bali.

This activity is part of FF UNAIR’s efforts to broaden the reach of information about postgraduate education while introducing opportunities for academic and professional competency development in the pharmaceutical field. Through this promotional activity, FF UNAIR encourages health professionals and academics to pursue higher-level studies and contribute to the advancement of scientific knowledge and healthcare services.

The postgraduate promotion also invited several health institutions and stakeholders in Buleleng Regency, including Kertha Usada Hospital, Parama Sidhi General Hospital, BaliMed Buleleng Hospital, the Buleleng Food and Drug Supervision Post (Loka POM), and the Buleleng Regency Health Office. The involvement of these institutions is expected to expand academic and professional networks while strengthening relationships among higher education institutions, healthcare facilities, and related agencies.

Unlike typical education promotions, this activity focused on the concept of an expert lecture (kuliah pakar), featuring lecturers and researchers from FF UNAIR’s postgraduate study programs. This concept was designed to provide a more in-depth academic experience through presentations on developments in pharmaceutical science, the latest research results, and the challenges and opportunities in clinical and industrial pharmacy.

Through expert lectures, participants not only obtained information regarding study options, education systems, and opportunities to continue to master’s and doctoral programs, but also gained scientific insights relevant to practical needs and developments in the pharmaceutical world. This approach is expected to help participants understand the importance of advanced education in improving professional capacity, developing research skills, and producing innovations beneficial to society.

Beyond serving as a means of introducing educational programs, this activity also opened opportunities for communication and collaboration between FF UNAIR and health institutions in Bali. This synergy has the potential to support research development, knowledge exchange, and improvement of human resource quality in the pharmaceutical and health fields.

Implementation of this study program promotion also supports the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4 (Quality Education), realized through efforts to expand access to higher education information, encourage improved academic qualifications, and provide scientific insights to academics and health professionals through expert lectures. It also aligns with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), reflected in the involvement of various health institutions and stakeholders in the Buleleng area, including hospitals, Loka POM, and the Buleleng Regency Health Office.
