Universitas Pattimura Conducts Relationship Building and Explores Collaboration Opportunities at FF UNAIR

FF UNAIR received an academic visit from Universitas Pattimura on Thursday, July 23, 2026. A total of 59 students from the Chemistry Department, Pharmacy Study Program at Universitas Pattimura, along with accompanying lecturers, came directly from Ambon to build relationships, engage in discussions, and gain a closer understanding of the academic and student life environment at FF UNAIR.

The delegation, led by Prof. Dr. Imanuel Berly Delvis Kapelle, S.Si., M.Si., was warmly welcomed by the FF UNAIR academic community. This activity served as a platform to share experiences, expand academic perspectives, and strengthen relationships between students and lecturers from both universities.

Representing FF UNAIR, apt. Chrismawan Ardianto, S.Farm., M.Sc., Ph.D., Coordinator of the Bachelor of Pharmacy Study Program, delivered remarks while introducing the educational excellence offered by FF UNAIR. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation for the visit from Universitas Pattimura and hoped that this activity could be the beginning of more extensive collaboration in the future.

Subsequently, a presentation on FF UNAIR’s profile was delivered by apt. Firmansyah Ardian Ramadhani, S.Farm., M.Farm., member of the student commission. The presentation included various information regarding academic programs, learning facilities, student activities, student achievements, and various opportunities for personal development that students can pursue during their studies at FF UNAIR.

The discussion atmosphere proceeded interactively. Students from Universitas Pattimura appeared enthusiastic in asking various questions, particularly regarding preparation for continuing to the Pharmacist Professional Education Program. Since most participants were final-year students, they wanted to know about various competencies that need to be prepared early on to be ready to enter the professional level.

Additionally, participants also showed interest in various postgraduate programs offered by FF UNAIR. Various information regarding master’s and doctoral programs became topics widely discussed, ranging from specialization fields, research opportunities, to career development prospects after completing studies.

Beyond discussing academic aspects, this visit also opened opportunities for collaboration in student affairs. Students from Universitas Pattimura invited the Student Executive Body (BEM) of FF UNAIR to establish cooperation.

This activity also aligns with FF UNAIR’s commitment to supporting SDGs 4 (Quality of Education) through improving higher education quality and SDGs 17 (Partnership for the Goals) through strengthening inter-institutional partnerships.
