The Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science at the FF UNAIR, held a Virtual Open House on Tuesday, July 7, 2026. This online activity, conducted through Zoom Meeting, served as a platform for prospective students to obtain complete information regarding the doctoral education program, research opportunities, and various academic advantages offered by FF UNAIR.
The event featured the main speakers, Prof. Dr. Apt. Djoko Agus Purwanto, M.Si. as Program Coordinator and Apt. Suciati, S.Si., M.Phil., Ph.D. as Program Secretary. Both presented comprehensive information related to the implementation of doctoral education, ranging from curriculum, leading research fields, learning systems, to career development opportunities for graduates.
This Virtual Open House activity received high enthusiasm from participants. Participants were recorded to come from various higher education institutions and health institutions in different regions of Indonesia, including East Java, Central Java, West Java, East Nusa Tenggara, West Nusa Tenggara, North Sulawesi, South Kalimantan, and Central Kalimantan. In addition to academics and educators, the activity was also attended by practitioners from various hospitals.
The discussion and question-and-answers sessions proceeded interactively, with various questions from participants regarding research topics, further study opportunities for practitioners, dissertation supervision mechanism, and career prospects for doctoral graduates in academia, industry, and healthcare services. The speakers provided in-depth explanations so that participants obtained a clear picture regarding the study journey in the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science at FF UNAIR.
Through the organization of this Virtual Open House, the FF UNAIR hopes to expand the reach of information to the public and attract quality prospective students who have enthusiasm to contribute to the development of pharmaceutical science through doctoral education.
