
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) received an academic visit from the Pharmacy Study Program at Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya (UMSurabaya) on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. The activity held at the Nani Building, Campus C UNAIR, served as a platform to strengthen relationships between institutions while sharing experiences in pharmaceutical education management.
The visit began with a discussion session held in Room 6.2 of the Nani Building. In a warm and interactive atmosphere, both institutions discussed various aspects of pharmaceutical education delivery, ranging from the learning process and curriculum development to supporting facilities that contribute to improving graduate quality.
In addition to discussions, the team from the Pharmacy Study Program at UMSurabaya also had an agenda to directly observe the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) Center and Computer Based Test (CBT) Center facilities at FF UNAIR. Both facilities are important resources in supporting the process of evaluating student competencies in a standardized and modern manner.
During the activity, FF UNAIR faculty staff accompanied the delegation while touring the facility areas. apt. Firmansyah Ardian Ramadhani, S.Farm., M.Farm., as Coordinator of the CBT Center at FF UNAIR, provided detailed explanations regarding governance, examination implementation mechanisms, and utilization of various equipment available at the OSCE Center and CBT Center.
Through this visit, it is hoped that closer collaboration can be established between FF UNAIR and the Pharmacy Study Program at UMSurabaya in the future. The exchange of information and experiences conducted is expected to benefit both institutions in efforts to improve the quality of pharmaceutical education and produce graduates who are competent and prepared to face challenges in the healthcare field.
