
The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), Prof. Dr. apt. Dewi Melani Hariyadi, M.Si., attended the WUACD Summit in conjunction with the 15th Korea-ASEAN Joint Symposium on Biomass Utilization and Renewable Energy, held on June 21, 2026, at The Sakala Resort, Bali. This event served as a strategic platform, bringing together academics, researchers, industry professionals, and various stakeholders from multiple countries to discuss current issues regarding biomass utilization and renewable energy.
The international forum provided a venue for participants to exchange insights, share research findings, and discuss innovations that support sustainable development. Furthermore, the event offered an opportunity to strengthen collaborative networks across institutions and nations in addressing global challenges in the energy and environmental sectors.
Prof. Dewi Melani Hariyadi’s participation in this forum reflects the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR's commitment to supporting the institution's internationalization and expanding its collaborative network with various strategic global partners. Through the various discussion sessions and meetings held during the event, participants had the opportunity to explore potential research collaborations, academic exchanges, and the development of joint programs oriented toward innovation and sustainability.
The WUACD Summit, held alongside the 15th Korea-ASEAN Joint Symposium, served as an important momentum for strengthening synergy between universities, research institutions, the government, and the industrial sector in developing solutions relevant to the needs of society and the environment.
