
UNAIR Faculty of Pharmacy Alumni Sharing Session Webinar: "Alfas Ready to Work in Various Pharmaceutical Fields"
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR), in collaboration with the Airlangga Pharmacy Alumni Association (ALFAS), successfully held a Sharing Session Webinar titled "Alfas Ready to Work in Various Pharmaceutical Fields" on Saturday, September 13, 2025. The event, held via Zoom Meeting, was attended by hundreds of participants from alumni, students, and the FF UNAIR academic community.
The event was officially opened by the Dean of FF UNAIR, Prof. apt. Dewi Melani Hariyadi, M.Phil., Ph.D., who expressed her appreciation to Alfas for their initiative in sharing experiences across pharmaceutical fields.
Furthermore, the Chair of Alfas, Dr. apt. Yuli Subiakto, M.Si., also served as the keynote speaker, providing an overview of the strategic role of alumni in making real contributions to society. He emphasized the importance of collaboration among alumni to enhance the competitiveness of the pharmacy profession in the global era.
This webinar consisted of three panel sessions featuring speakers from various pharmaceutical practice areas. Panel 1 featured Mr. Widodo Dumadi, a pharmaceutical industry practitioner, and Mr. Kirwanto, a distribution pharmacy practitioner, who outlined opportunities and challenges in the drug production and supply chain. Panel 2 featured Mr. Halim P. Jaya, a clinical pharmacist, and Mr. Rizal Umar R., a community pharmacist, who shared their experiences in providing direct pharmaceutical care to patients. Panel 3, Mr. Fahrizal Dian N., Secretary General of Alfas, and Mr. Primadi Avianto, Deputy Chairman of Alfas, shared their insights, emphasizing the importance of leadership, alumni networking, and the role of professional organizations.
The discussion was interactive, with a question-and-answer session involving participants, further enriching their understanding of the prospects and contributions of pharmacists in various sectors.
Through this activity, it is hoped that UNAIR Faculty of Pharmacy alumni will be further motivated to continue working and making a positive impact on society, both in the industrial, distribution, clinical, community, and professional organizations sectors.
