185 New Pharmacists from FF UNAIR Period 122 Officially Take the Pharmacist's Oath

FF UNAIR held the Pharmacist’s Oath-Taking Ceremony for period 122 on Tuesday, September 29, 2026. Held at the Airlangga Convention Center (ACC), Campus C UNAIR, the activity marked an important milestone for 185 graduates of the Pharmacist Professional Education Program to officially take their oath as pharmacists. 

The ceremony was led directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy at UNAIR, Prof. apt. Dewi Melani Hariyadi, S.Si., M.Phil., Ph.D. the procession proceeded solemnly, marked by all new pharmacists reciting the oath as a demonstration of their commitment to practice the profession responsibly, with integrity, and always prioritizing public health interests. 

Taking the oath represents one of the important stages in the academic and professional journey of graduates before they begin pharmaceutical practice. Through this milestone, the new pharmacists are expected to be able to implement the knowledge, competencies, and professional ethics values they acquired during their studies at the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR. 

Recognition for Outstanding Graduates

As recognition of academic achievements during their education, FF UNAIR presented appreciation to three graduates with the highest academic performance.

Highest Honors 1 was achieved by apt. Mayomi Zhafirah Ardani, S.Farm., with a perfect GPA of 4.00. Highest Honors 2 was achieved by apt. Erina Arista Wati, S.Farm., with a GPA of 3.97. Meanwhile, Highest Honors 3 was achieved by apt. Abdulloh Ibnu Nur Al Madury, S.Farm., with a GPA of 3.97.

Beyond faculty recognition, several new pharmacists also received awards from industry partners across various categories. The Novell Award from PT Novell Pharmaceutical Laboratories was presented to apt. Amajanti Daniswara, S.Farm., and apt. Abdulloh Ibnu Nur Al Madury, S.Farm. The award presentation was witnessed directly by the Dean of FF UNAIR.

The next award, the Dexa Award from PT Dexa Medica, was presented to apt. Erina Arista Wati, S.Farm. This award represented appreciation for the graduate's achievements throughout her academic journey.

Meanwhile, the Kalbe Award from PT Kalbe Farma was presented to apt. Evelin Nicole Iman, S.Farm. The K-24 Award from PT K-24 Indonesia was presented to apt. Nurul Fitria, S.Farm. All awards were presented and witnessed by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR.

The presentation of these various awards also demonstrated the support and synergy between the educational institution and industry partners in recognizing student and graduate achievements in the pharmaceutical field.

 

Message from New Pharmacists

The ceremony series also included remarks from the Representative of New Pharmacists delivered by apt. Salman Faris Alfaruqi, S.Farm. On this occasion, he represented all new pharmacists in conveying messages and reflections after completing professional pharmaceutical education at FF UNAIR.

These remarks served as a reflection of the graduates' journey throughout the education process and as a reminder of the responsibilities they now shoulder as healthcare professionals.

The ceremony concluded with a prayer led by one of the new pharmacists, apt. A. Hafidz Kurniawan, S.Farm. The group prayer served as the closing of the entire procession and as a hope that the new pharmacists would always be blessed in carrying out their profession and providing benefits to society.

The Pharmacist's Oath-Taking Ceremony for Period 122 marked the beginning of a new journey for 185 pharmacists graduating from the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR. With academic competencies, professional skills, and ethical values acquired, the new pharmacists are expected to carry out their professional responsibilities professionally and contribute to improving pharmaceutical services and public health quality.

For the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR, the emergence of 185 new pharmacists represents part of its sustained commitment to producing outstanding, integrity-driven, professional graduates capable of contributing at both national and global levels.
