FF UNAIR continues to strengthen the international learning atmosphere through the organization of a Joint Class with academics from the Faculty of Pharmacy, UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak, Malaysia, featuring Dr. Khalid Ahmad Ali Al-Sunaidar as speaker.
The Joint Class was successfully held on Thursday and Friday, September 24-25, 2026 in Classroom 5.6, Nani Building, campus C UNAIR. This activity was part of the academic series of Dr. Khalid’s visit to FF UNAIR, following his previous participation as a speaker in the Hybrid Guest Lecture organized by FF UNAIR.
During this occasion, Dr. Khalid presented material titled "The Evaluation of Drug Use in the Intensive Care Unit (The Case of Antimicrobial Resistance in the ICU)." The material focused on the importance of evaluating medication use in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), particularly in addressing antimicrobial resistance challenges.
On September 25, 2026, he presented material on "Student pilot project on digital technology application."
The Joint Class proceeded as an interactive learning space for students. The presence of an international academic provided participants with opportunities to gain perspectives and academic experiences from the pharmaceutical education environment in Malaysia.
The organization of the Joint Class with Dr. Khalid also reflected FF UNAIR's commitment to expanding students' learning experiences through international collaboration. The activity is expected to broaden students' knowledge regarding pharmaceutical practice, particularly in managing medication therapy in critically ill patients and addressing antimicrobial resistance challenges in the ICU setting.
