
FF UNAIR received a visit from the Master’s Program in Pharmacy at the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Universitas Udayana on Friday, September 4, 2026. The activity took place in the Main Conference Room of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes (NANI) Building at UNAIR.
This visit represented a strategic opportunity for both institutions to exchange insights and experiences, particularly in developing higher education in the pharmaceutical field. The main agenda of the meeting included discussions on curriculum development for the Master’s program (S2) in Pharmacy, learning management, and exploration of cooperation in academic research fields.
The Universitas Udayana team was warmly welcomed by FF UNAIR. Present at the meeting were the Vice Dean I of FF UNAIR, the Head of the Quality Assurance Unit, as well as the Coordinator and Secretary of the Master's Program in Pharmaceutical Science at FF UNAIR. The presence of this leadership team reflected FF UNAIR's openness and commitment to building networks and collaborations with various higher education institutions in Indonesia.
Meanwhile, from the Master's Program in Pharmacy at FMIPA Universitas Udayana, attending were Dr. rer.nat. apt. Ni Putu Ariantari, S.Farm., M.Farm. as Head of the Master's Program in Pharmacy and Dr. apt. Sagung Chandra Yowani, M.Si. as a representative of the Curriculum Development Team.
During the discussion, both parties addressed various aspects related to curriculum development for master's-level pharmacy education to remain increasingly relevant to knowledge advancement, employment needs, and challenges in the pharmaceutical field. Beyond curriculum, discussions also encompassed learning management as an important component in supporting education quality and student learning outcomes.
The meeting also served as a forum to share best practices and experiences from each institution in implementing the Master's Program in Pharmacy. The exchange of ideas is expected to provide new perspectives for both parties in improving education quality and program management.
Beyond focusing on education, this visit also opened opportunities for developing academic and research cooperation between the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR and Universitas Udayana. Future collaboration is expected to include various activities, such as joint research, scientific publications, academic exchange, and other forms of cooperation that can provide benefits to both institutions.
