
FF UNAIR continues to strengthen international cooperation through a meeting titled “Discussion of Student Mobility Requirements for Research Project at Hunan University of Medicine, China.” The activity was conducted online on August 28, 2026, and discussed various technical preparations for implementing the student mobility program to support research activities at Hunan University of Medicine.
The meeting was attended by the Dean and representatives of host laboratories and the FF UNAIR team, including apt. Elida Zairina, S.Si., MPH., Ph.D., FISQua., Prof. apt. Rr. Retno Widyowati, S.Si., M.Pharm., Ph.D., and Prof. Dr. apt. Idha Kusumawati, M.Si. discussions focused on laboratory readiness, delegation visit plans, students mobility processes and preparation for doctoral and master’s student research.
One of the main agenda items discussed was the plan for an FF UNAIR delegation to visit the partner institution in China in the coming November. The visit, which will be conducted by Dr. Elida Zairina along with the delegation, aims to directly observe the facilities and laboratory conditions that students will use during their research activities. Laboratory inspection is an important part of ensuring that the research environment meets the academic and research needs of students.
Through this meeting, FF UNAIR and Hunan University of Medicine demonstrated their commitment to ensuring that the student mobility program implementation proceeds in a focused and effective manner. Coordination conducted from the preparation stage is expected to support the smooth progress of student research activities while strengthening the implementation of academic and international research cooperation between the two institutions.
