FF UNAIR remains committed to enhancing the competencies of its academic community in facing digital transformation in the world of education. This commitment was realized through Artificial Intelligence (AI) utilization training attended by FF UNAIR and the Directorate of Information Systems and Digitalization (DSID) of UNAIR and was held at the Auditorium of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes (NANI) Building, Campus C UNAIR.
This training aimed to improve digital literacy among lecturers while introducing various applications of AI technology in supporting the implementation of higher education’s tri dharma, particularly in education, research, and community service. Through this activity, participants gained insights to AI technology developments and practical applications to support more effective learning processes, lecture material preparation, data management, and improvement of academic productivity.
During the training session, participants appeared enthusiastic in following each material presented. Interactive discussing proceeded actively with various questions regarding AI implementation while upholding academics ethics, scientific integrity, and responsible use of technology. Beyond theoretical presentations, participants also had the opportunity to directly try various AI-based features and applications that can be integrated into daily academic activities.
This collaboration between FF UNAIR and DSID UNAIR represents one of the strategic steps in supporting digital transformation within UNAIR. With improved lecturer competencies in utilizing AI technology, it is hoped that learning and research processes at FFUNAIR can become increasingly innovative, adaptive, and capable of addressing challenges in the development of knowledge and technology in the digital era.
