FF UNAIR continues to strengthen its role at the International level through active participation of its lecturers in various global professional organizations. Two FF UNAIR lecturers, apt. Elida Zairina, S.Si., MPH., PhD., FISQua. (Vice Dean III) and Prof. Dr. apt. Yunita Nita, S.Si., M. Pharm., (Coordinator of the Pharmacist Professional Study Program), attended the board meeting of the Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) 2026, held on July 9, 2026, at the Centara Grand & Bangkok Convention Centre, Bangkok, Thailand.
The presence of both lecturers represents their responsibility as Board Members of ACCP, an international organization focused on advancing the practice of clinical pharmacy in the Asia Region.
The ACCP 2026 board meeting served as a strategic forum that brought together leaders, academics, and pharmaceutical practitioners from various countries to discuss the organization’s development direction and various important agendas that will support the advancement of clinical pharmacy practice at the regional level. Various strategic issues became topics of discussion, ranging from evaluation of work programs that have been implemented, strengthening inter-country collaboration, development of ACCP conferences and scientific activities in the future, to efforts in improving the quality of education and clinical pharmacy services in the Asia Region.
Through intensive discussions, board members also exchanged perspectives regarding challenges and opportunities in the development of the pharmaceutical profession in the era of global health transformation. This forum served as an important platform to strengthen synergy among institutions while formulating collaborative steps in supporting the improvement of pharmaceutical personnel competencies and the quality of health services.
This activity also aligns with the implementation of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which emphasizes the importance of global partnerships in strengthening collaboration, sharing knowledge, and building joint capacity to achieve sustainable development goals. Through involvement in ACCP, FF UNAIR continues to support the creation of international cooperation that has a positive impact on the advancement of pharmaceutical education and services in the Asia region and the world.
