
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) once again held the 121st Pharmacist Oath Ceremony on Thursday, May 21, 2026. The proceedings took place in the Nani Building Hall in a solemn and moving atmosphere, marking the official entry of 32 new pharmacists ready to dedicate themselves to the world of healthcare and pharmaceutical services.
During the ceremony, all prospective pharmacists took their professional oath in accordance with their respective religions and beliefs. The moment stands as an important milestone for the graduates as they step into the professional world, upholding the ethics, integrity, and responsibility expected of healthcare professionals.
The oath ceremony was presided over by the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR, Prof. apt. Dewi Melani Hariyadi. In her remarks, she conveyed that the pharmacist profession holds a strategic role in improving the quality of public healthcare services. She also urged the new pharmacists to always uphold professionalism and to keep developing their competencies amid the rapidly advancing landscape of pharmaceutical science and technology.
As part of the formal proceedings, the newly sworn-in pharmacists were handed over to the Chairperson of the East Java Regional Board of the Indonesian Pharmacists Association, the Head of the East Java Provincial Health Office, and the Chairperson of the Universitas Airlangga Alumni Family Association for the Faculty of Pharmacy, as a symbol of their readiness to serve the community and the profession.
On the occasion, the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR also presented awards to the top graduates of the 121st Pharmacist Professional Program. Third place went to apt. Nabilah Nur Hamidah, with a GPA of 3.97 and a UKAI score of 87.50, daughter of the late Soegijono and Muslichah.
Second place was taken by apt. Kevin Kurniawan Wiyogo, with a GPA of 3.97 and a UKAI score of 92.00, son of Wiyogo Wirahadi Kusuma, S.T. and Tan Mie Djing, S.E.
First place went to apt. David Vincentius, with a GPA of 3.97 and a UKAI score of 96.50, son of Haris Diantoro and Jajuk Hartati.
In addition to the top graduate awards, special recognition was also given to outstanding students. The Novell Award from PT. Novell Pharmaceutical Laboratories was presented to apt. Benny Christian, son of Benjamin and Yatinah, as well as to apt. Kevin Kurniawan Wiyogo.
The Dexa Award from PT. Dexa Medica was presented to apt. David Vincentius in recognition of his academic achievements and outstanding competence throughout the pharmacist professional program.
