Vice Dean III of FF UNAIR Attends SwipeRx IPEC 2026

Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), apt. Elida Zairina, S.Si., MPH., PhD., FISQua., attended the SwipeRx Indonesian Pharmacy Expo & Conference (IPEC) 2026. This 4th annual event was organized by SwipeRx Education and Training Institute (LPP) on Saturday, June 6, 2026, held at The Kasablanka Hall, Jakarta.

With the theme "Pharmacist at the Heart of Self-Care," this national-scale conference brought together more than 1,300 pharmacists and pharmaceutical professionals from across Indonesia. This year's main focus was on how policy, regulation, and scientific practice can strengthen the role of pharmacists as the center of responsible self-care in the primary healthcare system.

The attendance of apt. Elida Zairina at this forum represents FF UNAIR's commitment to continue working in an integrated manner with regulators, practitioners, and industry in advancing the pharmaceutical profession in Indonesia.

The event was opened with a keynote speech by Prof. dr. Taruna Ikrar, M.Biomed., MD., Ph.D. (Head of the Drug and Food Supervisory Agency/BPOM), and was attended by leading figures in science and regulation, including Dr. Dra. Lucia Rizka Andalucia, apt., M.Pharm., MARS (Director General of Pharmacy and Medical Devices, Indonesian Ministry of Health).

In addition to serving as a collaboration platform, SwipeRx IPEC 2026 presented a series of scientific seminars and panel discussions accredited for continuing education credits (SKP) by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia. Pharmacist capability enhancement was also supported by the use of digital solutions and industrial exhibitions featuring more than 50 pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

Through active participation in this agenda for shaping the future of the pharmaceutical world, FF UNAIR hopes to continue bringing innovation, expanding partnership networks, and implementing cutting-edge knowledge to enhance the quality of public health services.
