Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), held a Coordination Meeting for the Preparation of Community Service Proposals for 2026 on Monday, February 23, 2026. The meeting took place in the Leadership Meeting Room of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building and was attended by the faculty's dean's office and the Community Service Commission of FF UNAIR.
This coordination meeting was held as a strategic step in preparing high-quality, innovative community service program proposals that align with university policy directions and community needs. Through this forum, faculty leaders and the Community Service Commission mapped potential areas, refined themes, and developed strategies to ensure the proposals would have a real and sustainable impact.
In their directives, the dean's office emphasized the importance of community service as one of the main pillars of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Community service activities are expected to serve not only as administrative outputs but also to provide pharmaceutical science-based solutions to address various health challenges in society.
The Community Service Commission also outlined the proposed timeline, accessible funding schemes, and mentoring mechanisms for lecturers in the proposal preparation process. The discussion was active with various constructive inputs regarding strengthening cross-departmental collaboration and opportunities for collaboration with external partners.
