The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) received a visit from SMA Al-Maahira International Islamic Boarding School (IIBS) Malang on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. The event took place in the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building Hall and was attended by a group of 12th-grade students from SMA Al-Maahira IIBS Malang.
The visit began with remarks from both parties. Representing FF UNAIR, the welcome was delivered by Ms. Apt. Diajeng Putri Paramita, S.Farm., M.Si., a member of the FF UNAIR Student Affairs Commission. In her remarks, she expressed her appreciation for the visit from SMA Al-Maahira IIBS Malang and provided an overview of the academic and student environment at FF UNAIR.
Meanwhile, the welcome from SMA Al-Maahira IIBS Malang was delivered by Ustaz Achmad Irawan, S.Kom., Gr., the Principal. He expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome from Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR and hoped that this activity would provide insight and motivation for the students in determining their further study options.
The group of students attended with great enthusiasm from the beginning. Throughout the event, the students participated in all activities in an orderly manner and demonstrated a keen interest in the presentations on the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR's profile, the lecture system, and the available academic and non-academic opportunities.
The students also seemed very attentive, listening to every explanation. This enthusiasm was further evident during the question-and-answer session, where students actively asked various questions, not wanting to miss this valuable opportunity to gain direct information.
Many questions were directed to the representatives of the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR Student Executive Board (BEM) in attendance, particularly regarding their experiences in gaining acceptance as Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR students. Furthermore, the students learned about how to balance campus life between organizations and academics, as well as the motivation they employ when facing difficult times or feeling down during their studies.
