The Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) received an educational visit from Fastabiqul Khairat Senior High School, Samarinda, on Wednesday, January 22, 2026. The visit took place in Lecture Room 5.1 and was attended by dozens of participants, including teachers, students, and several parents.
The series of activities began with remarks from FF UNAIR representatives, along with an introductory presentation on the FF UNAIR profile, available study programs, and various academic and non-academic support facilities. During this opportunity, participants gained a comprehensive overview of the learning environment and academic life at FF UNAIR.
Meanwhile, remarks from Fastabiqul Khairat Senior High School, Samarinda, were delivered by Mr. Ary Norsaputra, M.Sc., Vice Principal for Public Relations. In his remarks, he expressed his appreciation for the warm welcome from FF UNAIR and hoped that this visit would motivate students to continue their education to higher education, particularly at Airlangga University.
The event continued with an enthusiastic interactive discussion session. Many students asked questions about tips and strategies for gaining acceptance into Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) UNAIR, and shared experiences about the dynamics and challenges of student life. Furthermore, questions arose regarding the acceptance of students with disabilities at Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) UNAIR and Universitas Airlangga.
In response, Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) UNAIR explained that both Universitas Airlangga and FF UNAIR are open and accept students with disabilities. The facilities at both FF UNAIR and UNAIR have been designed to be friendly and inclusive for people with disabilities, with the specific requirement that prospective students in the Faculty of Pharmacy are not permitted to be colorblind.
Through this visit, it is hoped that the students of SMA Fastabiqul Khairat Samarinda will gain broader insights into higher education in the field of pharmacy and become more motivated to achieve their dreams of continuing their studies at Faculty of Pharmacy (FF) UNAIR.
