To improve the quality of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education and strengthen national academic networks, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR), conducted an academic visit to the Faculties of Pharmacy at Mahasaraswati University (UNMAS) and Bali International University (UNBI) on Thursday, December 12, 2025.
The event was led by Vice Dean I of FF UNAIR, Prof. apt. Helmy Yusuf, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D., who led the event. Coordinators of the Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Master of Clinical Pharmacy, and Doctor of Pharmaceutical Sciences study programs were also present, strengthening the group's capacity to explore opportunities for cross-institutional academic collaboration.
The visit aimed to:
- Improve the quality of learning and research, including opportunities for joint research collaborations
- Expand the national academic network to strengthen synergy between universities in Indonesia
- Optimize shared resources, including academic facilities, resource persons, and other collaborative agendas
In addition to discussing strategic collaborations, the visit also served as a promotional opportunity for the Master of Pharmaceutical Science, Master of Clinical Pharmacy, and Doctor of Pharmaceutical Science study programs. The study program coordinators provided comprehensive information regarding the curriculum, study program strengths, scholarship opportunities, and career prospects for graduates.
The discussion was productive and received a positive response from UNMAS and UNBI. Through this activity, it is hoped that sustainable collaborations will be established that can make a tangible contribution to the development of pharmaceutical education and research in Indonesia.
