
Professor of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), Prof. Dr. apt. Sukardiman, MS., represented FF UNAIR in discussions with the Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) in the "One Stop Service (OSS) Jemput Bola (Online One-Stop Service) to Accelerate the Completion of Registration for Natural Medicines, Health Supplements, and Cosmetics" event.
Organized by BPOM, the two-day event, December 8–9, 2025, was held at the Graha Pena Jawa Pos Building in Surabaya and brought together various stakeholders, from academics, industry players, and regulators. The OSS Jemput Bola program is a BPOM initiative to provide accelerated registration services and direct assistance to business actors in the development of natural medicine products, health supplements, and cosmetics.
On this occasion, Prof. Sukardiman actively participated in discussions and provided academic insights regarding strengthening the quality of scientific data and industry readiness to meet registration requirements. His participation demonstrates FF UNAIR's contribution to supporting the innovation ecosystem and downstreaming of health products in Indonesia.
The activity proceeded smoothly and is expected to be a concrete step in accelerating the availability of safe, high-quality, and innovative health products to the public. Through synergy between academia, industry, and the BPOM, the accelerated registration process is expected to be more effective and positively impact the development of the national pharmaceutical sector.
