The Launch of Sains 4 Skin Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion, a product of FF UNAIR, Enlivens the Opening of ASSIE 2025
The opening of the Airlangga Startup Summit and Innovation Expo (ASSIE) 2025 on November 14, 2025, was a lively affair, featuring various outstanding innovations created by the academic community of Airlangga University. One of the highlights of the first day of the event, held at the Main Atrium of Grand City Surabaya, was the launch of the innovative cosmetic product Sains4Skin Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion.
This personal care product is the result of leading research from the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR, through the Center for Excellence in Higher Education Science and Technology (PUI-PT) for Skin Health and Cosmetic Technology (PUI-PT SCT), in collaboration with industry partners. Sains4Skin Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion was developed through scientific testing based on an evidence-based formulation, providing optimal hydration, anti-aging properties, and is safe for use on various skin types, including sensitive skin.
The launch of Sains4Skin Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion also reflects FF UNAIR's commitment to supporting the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, particularly in strengthening the innovation ecosystem and accelerating the commercialization of university research results.
With the launch of Sains4Skin Ultra Hydrating Body Lotion, Faculty of Medicine (FF) UNAIR hopes to expand its contribution to improving the quality of local cosmetic products that are high-quality, safe, and highly competitive.
