Faculty of Medicine (FF) UNAIR Educates the Public Through the Talk Show "Science Behind Glowing Skin" at ASSIE 2025
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), once again demonstrated its commitment to fostering innovation and public education through active participation in the 2025 StartUp Summit and Innovation Expo (ASSIE III). Organized by the UNAIR Center for Innovation and Business Acceleration (PASINBIS), the event was held enthusiastically at the Main Atrium of Grand City Surabaya on November 14–16, 2025.
As a faculty consistently producing innovations in the health sector, FF UNAIR also opened an exhibition booth showcasing various superior products resulting from research by its academic community. Public enthusiasm was evident, with many visitors coming to learn more about the pharmaceutical innovations being developed.
On November 16, 2025, a featured event was the "Science Behind Glowing Skin" talk show. This talk show featured Professor of FF UNAIR, Prof. Dr. apt. Noorma Rosita, M.Si., and was moderated by apt. The event was attended by Prof. Yusuf Alif Pratama, S.Farm., M.Farm., who is also a lecturer at Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, UNAIR.
In a talk show attended by mall visitors from various backgrounds, Prof. Noorma Rosita provided a scientific understanding of skin health, including factors that influence skin condition, the importance of proper care, and how to choose safe cosmetics. This educational session received a positive response from the public because it provided practical guidance that can be applied in everyday life.
This activity is a tangible demonstration of Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, UNAIR's contribution to improving public health literacy and supporting Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) point 4: Quality Education through the dissemination of inclusive and accessible education to the wider community.
