Dean of Faculty Pharmacy UNAIR Attends Kickoff Meeting of "100 Days Mission Indonesia" Initiative from Indonesian Ministry of Health and CEPI

The Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga attended an invitation from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenkes RI) in an activity entitled Table Top Exercise (TTx): “100 Days Mission Indonesia” Kickoff Meeting. This activity was held at The Westin Jakarta on October 27, 2025, and was an important step in strengthening national preparedness for potential future global pandemics.

The event was the result of a collaboration between the Indonesian Ministry of Health and the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), an international organization focused on preparedness for the threat of new infectious diseases. Through this meeting, CEPI introduced the 100 Days Mission (100DM) initiative — a global movement aimed at enabling vaccine development and response to potential pandemic pathogen threats (Disease X) in just 100 days.

The 100DM initiative encompasses various strengthening efforts in strategic sectors, including vaccine manufacturing technology, surveillance systems, clinical development, and the development of adaptive regulations. The ultimate goal is to create a resilient ecosystem to accelerate vaccine production and distribution in the face of future outbreaks.

The presence of the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR in this agenda demonstrates FF UNAIR's commitment to supporting the efforts of the government and the global community to strengthen Indonesia's preparedness in facing the threat of a pandemic in line with SDGs 3. Through cross-sector collaboration and academic support, it is hoped that this initiative will be able to create an effective rapid response system to protect the health of the Indonesian and global public.
