Strengthening International Collaboration, Faculty of Medicine UNAIR Receives a Visit from Prof. Natsuhisa Oka and Dr. Jalifah Latip
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) once again welcomed two international academic guests: Prof. Natsuhisa Oka from Gifu University, Japan, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Jalifah Latip from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The event was successfully held on October 24, 2025, in the 2nd Floor Meeting Room, Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building, Campus C, UNAIR.
This visit marked a significant milestone in strengthening international collaboration between FF UNAIR and various higher education institutions in Asia. On this occasion, the two professors were welcomed by the leadership and staff of FF UNAIR. The meeting took place in a warm and productive atmosphere, highlighted by in-depth discussions regarding collaboration opportunities in education, research, and scientific publications.
In addition to discussing potential joint research, the discussion also highlighted the development of student and lecturer exchange programs, as well as collaboration opportunities in reputable journal publications and journal management at FF UNAIR. Prof. Oka and Dr. Jalifah expressed their appreciation for the warm welcome from UNAIR and emphasized the importance of cross-border synergy to address global challenges in the fields of pharmacy and health.
With this visit, Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR hopes that the academic relationship with Gifu University and Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia can continue and result in effective collaboration for the advancement of pharmaceutical science and innovation at the international level.
