Lecturer of Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR Becomes Speaker at Inspirational Webinar "From Research to Industry"
Mr. Apt. Andi Hermansyah, S.Farm., M.Sc., Ph.D., a lecturer at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR), was chosen as one of the speakers at the Inspirational Webinar: From Research to Industry: Driving Innovation for Community Well-Being with the theme "Transforming Ideas into Solutions that Empower Communities."
This event was held online via the Zoom Meeting platform on September 29, 2025, and was attended by participants from various backgrounds, including academics, practitioners, and students. Despite being held via Zoom, the event ran smoothly, and all participants appeared enthusiastic.
During the event, Dr. Andi delivered a presentation entitled "A Digital Platform for Supporting Pharmacy Practice Surveillance." He emphasized the importance of utilizing digital technology to support pharmacy practice, particularly in the aspects of monitoring and supervision. The developed digital platform is expected to improve the quality of pharmacy services, strengthen the health system, and positively impact the wider community.
This webinar provided an inspiring discussion space that connected research with the needs of industry and society. The presence of Apt. Andi Hermansyah, as a resource person, emphasized the important role of academics in bridging research results so they can be implemented effectively, encouraging innovation, and empowering communities.
