BRIEF INTRODUCTION
In 2025, the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University, will celebrate its 62nd anniversary. The 62nd Anniversary Ceremony of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University, is a significant opportunity to reflect on and honor the faculty's long history. Sixty-two years ago, the Sub-Committee for the Investigation of Efforts to Establish the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences (FIPIA), Department of Pharmacy, established the Faculty of Exact and Natural Sciences (FIPIA) at Airlangga University on August 17, 1963. This date was later designated as the birthplace of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Higher Education at Airlangga University. Through Rector's Decree No. UM.2034/10/63, the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences was officially opened with Mrs. Nanizar Zaman Joenoes, Pharm.D., as the first Head of the Department.
This celebration serves as a moment to remember and appreciate the achievements and struggles of the past 62 years, while also strengthening the spirit of continuing to uphold the theme "Integrity, Innovation, and Harmony in Pharmacy Service." This theme reflects the faculty's commitment to upholding the principle of integrity in all its actions, prioritizing innovation in scientific development and service delivery, and fostering harmony in service to the community and the nation.
