UNAIR's Student Executive Board (BEM) of FF UNAIR Achievement at the Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium 2025 in Malaysia

Asia Pacific Pharmaceutical Symposium (APPS) 2025 was successfully held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, as the largest annual forum that brings together pharmacy students across the asia pacific region under International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation Asia Pacific Regional Office (IPSF APRO). This event conducts a wide range of activities, such as, scientific symposium, interactive workshops, and cultural exchanges. BEM Faculty of Pharmacy Universitas Airlangga (BEM FF UNAIR), took part as active delegates who not only attended but also made a proud achievements.

At APPS 2025, BEM FF UNAIR achieved some prestigious awards at the regional level. Namely, place-IPSF APRO Best Member Organisation, demonstrating outstanding dedication and contributions as a member organization. BEM FF UNAIR also earned the title of Best Delegation – APPS 2025, proving the unity and quality of their delegates in contributing throughout the event. BEM FF UNAIR played an active role in the Deaf Awareness Week 2025 project, which was initiated by BEM FF UI in collaboration with other organizations. The project successfully received dual awards: Best Collaboration Project and IPSF APRO Best Collaboration Project. These accolades stand as clear evidence that cross-country collaboration among Indonesian pharmacy students can create a significant impact on inclusive health issues.

BEM FF UNAIR not only shine as an organization, but individual members also received recognition for their active roles within IPSF. Ms. Karyn Puspitasari Chan from BEM FF UNAIR was awarded IPSF APRO  Best Contact Person for her outstanding efforts in maintaining strong and active communication between local and regional organisations. Meanwhile, Mr. Evan Chris Tanto earned the title of IPSF APRO Best Student Exchange Officer, thanks to his leadership in running the IPSF student exchange program efficiently and impactfully.

These achievements highlight the capability of Indonesian pharmacy students, especially those from Universitas Airlangga, to compete and contribute on the international stage with a strong spirit of collaboration and professionalism. Thank you to all 41 delegates from BEM FF UNAIR for your outstanding dedication and enthusiasm.
