apt. Gesnita Nugraheni, S.Farm., MS., While Attending The 67th Annual Meeting of the Japan Diabetes Society
As a leading Faculty of Pharmacy, members of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) certainly actively participate in many prestigious international activities. On 17 to 19 May 2024, one of the FF UNAIR lecturers attended a routine meeting in Japan, namely The 67th Annual Meeting of the Japan Diabetes Society.
The lecturer is Apt. Gesnita Nugraheni, S.Farm., MS. He is a lecturer at the Department of Practical Pharmacy, FF UNAIR. Mrs. Geta, as she is known, managed to get a Travel Grant from the Japan Diabetes Society to fly to Sakura Country and attend a prestigious meeting to eradicate diabetes.
On this agenda, Mrs. Geta also had the opportunity to present her research with the title "The Five Moments of Medication Safety: A Cross Sectional Study on Indonesian Community Pharmacists". The activity which took place at the Tokyo International Forum was of course attended by many researchers from Japan and several other countries who care about advances in the world of health. All participants can discuss and exchange ideas to work together to advance community welfare in the health sector, of course on a global scale.
Mrs. Geta's participation in this activity clearly proves that FF UNAIR plays an active role in supporting the success of SDGs point 3, namely "Good Health and Well-being".
