Visit of Ar-Rohmah Girls' High School to FF UNAIR
This week the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) received a visit from a senior high school. After yesterday (22/1/2024) SMAN 4 Tambun Selatan visited FF UNAIR, now the agenda for the visit is attended by Ar-Rohmah Girls' High School "Boarding School". A total of 88 female students accompanied by 6 teachers attended and were warmly welcomed by FF UNAIR today (23/1/2024).
The same as yesterday's agenda, this time a series of visits were carried out on the 1st floor of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building. As usual, the event guide warmly and happily greeted the entire Ar-Rohmah High School group. Don't forget to also lead a prayer before the event starts. After that, all attendees were asked to stand up to sing the national anthem Indonesia Raya and the Airlangga Hymn. Then continued with a welcome speech.
The speech from FF UNAR was represented by one of the lecturers at the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, namely Mrs. apt. Rosita Handayani, S.Farm., M.Sc. Then Mrs. Dita as a representative from Ar-Rohmah High School took turns giving a speech and thanking her for being well received at FF UNAIR.
After seeing an overview of FF UNAIR from the screening of two profile videos, the agenda shifted to a discussion and question and answer session. Both teachers and students are welcome to ask questions about FF UNAIR and UNAIR in general. Here the high enthusiasm of the students is clearly visible. Even though they are students who are still in grade 10, their curiosity about the world of college seems to be overflowing.
At that time the questions kept coming, the questions they asked were quite varied, starting from the joys and sorrows of being an FF UNAIR student, the culture shock between high school and college life, to what research products had been produced by FF UNAIR and of course many more. The BEM members, assisted by Mrs. Rosita, answered question after question in detail but still delivered it in a relaxed manner so that the students did not get tense.
However, due to limited time, the event host had to end the question and answer session that day. However, the opportunity is still wide open to ask questions according to the event and can also be done via BEM and FF UNAIR official Instagram direct messages. Due to high curiosity, finally several female students asked the performers personally. Many of them admitted that they were very happy with this event and were interested in continuing their studies at UNAIR, especially FF UNAIR.
