The SDGs Series 4 webinar with the theme "Pharmacy Education Transformation to Anticipate Inevitable Changes Post Covid-19 Pandemic" has run successfully on Saturday last week (13/8/2022). The webinar was held online via the Zoom Meeting platform. Nearly 200 participants registered for this webinar. Besides coming from Indonesia, the participants of this webinar are mostly foreign students from the Philippines, Brunei, and Malaysia.
In addition to gathering information and sharing knowledge with experts from other countries regarding the transformation of pharmaceutical education after the Covid-19 pandemic, the purpose of holding the SDGs Series 4 webinar is also to expand collaboration networks with universities abroad. The purpose of this webinar has proven to be achieved with many participants coming from various countries and are very enthusiastic to share information from their respective countries.
This series of webinar events is not much different from the webinars that have been held previously. After the opening series was over, the speaker began to present the material.
There were three speakers who were invited to this webinar, namely Dr. Carl Schneider from the University of Sydney, Australia; Dr. Erwin Martinez Faller of San Pedro College, Philippines; and Dr. Syireen Binti Alwi who is affiliated with Universiti Malaya, Malaysia. The three speakers shared material related to the transformation of pharmacy education at their respective universities after the COVID-19 pandemic.
