FF UNAIR held a Meeting Discussion on Potential Collaboration for the Fast Track Program between the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) of FF UNAIR and the Master of Science (MSc) program of the University of Birmingham. This meeting represents an initial step in exploring international academic cooperation opportunities to expand students’ chances of pursuing education at higher levels.
The discussion focused on the potential development of a fast track program that would enable International Undergraduate Program students at FF UNAIR to continue their studies at the master’s level at the University of Birmingham through an integrated educational scheme. This initiative is expected to open opportunities for students to gain internationally standardized academic experience while enhancing their competencies in the pharmaceutical sciences.
Through this meeting, both institutions discussed opportunities for curriculum alignment, student admission mechanisms, and various academic aspects required for program development. This exploratory collaboration also provided an opportunity to identify potential synergy between pharmaceutical education at UNAIR and the academic strengths of the University of Birmingham.
The development of this international cooperation aligns with FF UNAIR’s commitment to improving education quality and expanding global networks. Through collaborative programs, students are expected to have access to a broader learning environment, cross-cultural insights, and opportunities for competency development relevant to the needs of the pharmaceutical world.
In addition, this initiative supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4, Quality Education, through efforts to expand access to inclusive and high-quality higher education. Cross-country collaboration also has the potential to strengthen institutional relationships and open space for sustainable academic cooperation development.
