Dr. apt. Zamrotul Izzah, S.Farm.,M.Sc., a lecturer at the FF UNAIR, was invited as a speaker at the World Pharmacists Day 2026 event organized by Universiti Brunei Darussalam on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. The event carried the theme “Empowering Pharmacists for A Healthier Future,’ as an effort to promote strengthening the role of pharmacists in creating a healthier future.
Dr. apt. Zamrotul Izzah’s involvement as a speaker in this international event represents one form of contribution by FF UNAIR academics in sharing knowledge and experience in the pharmaceutical field. This participation also opens space for exchanging insights among professionals and academics to support the development of pharmaceutical science and the improvement of healthcare service quality.
The theme “Empowering Pharmacists for A Healthier Future” emphasizes the importance of empowering pharmacists to face continuously evolving health challenges. Pharmacists hold a strategic role, not only in ensuring safe and rational medication use, but also in providing education to the public and supporting promotive and preventive health efforts.
Through this activity, strengthened academic and professional collaboration at the international level is expected. The participation of an FF UNAIR lecturer as a speaker also forms part of efforts to expand FF UNAIR’s contribution to global scientific forums.
