FF UNAIR held a sharing session with international academic Dr. Khalid Ahmad Ali Al-Sunaidar from the Faculty of Pharmacy, UniKL Royal College of Medicine Perak, Malaysia. The activity was successfully held on Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
The activity, held in the Clinical Pharmacy conference room, Nani Building, Campus C UNAIR, was attended by several students and faculty members. Carrying the theme “Rapid Diagnostics and Stewardship (Closing Gap between Suspicion and Targeted Therapy),” this session discussed the importance of utilizing rapid diagnostics methods in supporting treatment accuracy for patients.
The sharing session proceeded interactively. Students and faculty had opportunities to listen to presentations and discuss the application of rapid diagnostics and stewardship in pharmaceutical practice. The discussion provided a space for participants to broaden their perspectives regarding advances in pharmaceutical services and challenges in ensuring appropriate medication use.
Dr. Khalid's presence in FF UNAIR's academic activities also represented part of strengthening international networks and knowledge exchange in the pharmaceutical field. Academic interaction with partners from foreign educational institutions is expected to open collaboration opportunities while enriching learning experiences for both students and faculty.
