FF UNAIR's 63rd Anniversary, Collaborating with East Java Youth and Sport Agency to Celebrate Inclusive Sports

FF UNAIR celebrated its 63rd Anniversary with great spirit of unity through a series of sports and social activities held festively at the courtyard of the Management Office, Campus C UNAIR, on Sunday, September 20, 2026. The activity also collaborated with the East Java Youth and Sports Agency (Dispora) in commemoration of the 43rd National Sports Day (HAORNAS) of East Java.

The peak celebration of FF UNAIR’s 63rd Anniversary involved not only UNAIR and Faculty of Pharmacy academic community members but also invited the general public and people with disabilities to participate and enjoy all activities.

The involvement of people with disabilities represented a concrete manifestation of organizing an Inclusive Sport Day, a sports activity that provides space for all sectors of society to participate without exception. This spirit made the Dies Natalis celebration more than just a commemoration of FF UNAIR's journey; it became a space to strengthen unity and social concern.

The series of activities began with group morning exercise attended by participants with great enthusiasm. Activities then continued with a group walk that served to promote an active lifestyle while strengthening interaction among academic community members, the public, and people with disabilities.

Beyond sports activities, FF UNAIR also demonstrated social concern through the distribution of breakfast and food packages to participants, particularly as a gesture of attention to the community and people with disabilities who attended the event.

The collaboration between FF UNAIR and East Java Dispora during the 43rd HAORNAS also demonstrated the importance of inter-institutional synergy in presenting activities that provide broader benefits to society. Through joint activities, sports are viewed not only as an activity for maintaining fitness but also as a means of building solidarity, strengthening social interaction, and creating an inclusive participatory space.

FF UNAIR's 63rd Anniversary celebration aligned with its commitment to Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being through promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles; SDG 10: Reduced Inequalities through involving people with disabilities in sports and social activities; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals through collaboration among FF UNAIR, East Java Dispora, academic community, society, and various related parties.
