FF UNAIR received a visit from SMA Negeri Taruna Nala Jawa Timur on Monday, September 14, 2026. The visit was attended by more than 200 students who arrived in an orderly, neat, and enthusiastic manner.
From the start of the activity, students demonstrated discipline and enthusiasm in participating in the program series. The visit provided an opportunity for students from SMA Negeri Taruna Nala Jawa Timur to become better acquainted with the academic environment at the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR while gaining insights into student life at a higher education institution.
Student enthusiasm became especially apparent during the discussion and question-and-answer session. Many students raised their hands to ask the speakers questions. A wide range of questions were posed, covering topics from scholarship information and university life to student activities and various subjects related to the pharmaceutical field.
Notably, students also demonstrated interest in the issue of illicit drugs. Several questions were directed toward understanding more about drugs that can be misused, the impacts of drug abuse, and how the pharmaceutical field plays a role in providing education and promoting safe and responsible medication use.
These various questions reflected students' strong curiosity about the pharmaceutical world and university life. Beyond focusing on academic aspects, they also wanted to understand the experiences and challenges they would face when pursuing higher education.
This visit is expected to provide insights and motivation for students from SMA Negeri Taruna Nala Jawa Timur to prepare for continuing to higher education. Through activities such as this, the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR opens a space for young people to learn about the pharmaceutical field while gaining an understanding of the various educational opportunities and self-development available in higher education.
The activity proceeded smoothly to conclusion. The high level of student participation in the discussion session was evident that the visit received positive reception and provided educational experience for participants.
