The celebration of the FF UNAIR 63rd Anniversary grew increasingly vibrant on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. Alumni Pharmacy Airlangga (ALFAS) members who are part of the Farmakope Basketball community participated in enlivening the Dekan Cup 2026 through an exhibition match.
Approximately 30 alumni from various cohorts (ranging from the 1999 cohort through 2015) gathered on the court at the GOR facility at Campus C UNAIR to reconnect. The fun match brought together the veteran Farmakope Basketball team against the active student representatives, the Mahasiswa Allstar "Mahasigma" team.
The match proceeded competitively and with great warmth, ending with a final score of 38:31 in favor of Farmakope Basketball.
Celebration and Future Hopes
Beyond showcasing ball-handling skills on the court, the warmth of this event was also felt by spectators:
- Supporter Appreciation: The alumni team distributed Farmakope Basketball commemorative t-shirts to students who provided support from the stands.
- Group Photo: The celebration concluded with a group photo session involving all players, organizing committee members, and approximately 100 spectators who filled the venue.
Farmakope Basketball Chair, apt. Dwi Kesumawanto, S.Farm. (ALFAS 2001), expressed hope that this moment would serve as a catalyst for strengthening collaboration between alumni and their alma mater.
"I hope that alumni gatherings and connections with students and academic community members will continue to strengthen our networks. In the future, there will be regular events involving alumni and students in sports, especially basketball," said apt. Dwi.
Through this activity, the celebration of FF UNAIR's 63rd Anniversary became more than just a sports competition, it was an important opportunity to strengthen unity across generations within the FF UNAIR.
