11 Delegates of FF UNAIR Students Achieve Three Accomplishments at 71st IPSF World Congress 2026

The 71st IPSF World Congress 2026 was one of the largest international meetings bringing together pharmacy students and recent graduates from various countries around the world. This activity served as a platform for members of the International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation (IPSF) to expand knowledge, build international networks, and exchange ideas regarding the development of pharmaceutical profession and science.

Carrying the theme “Building a Connected Future: Celebrating Diversity and Fostering Initiatives for the Next Era of Pharmacy,” the 71st IPSF World Congress 2026 emphasized the importance of connectivity, diversity, and initiatives of young generations in shaping the future of the pharmaceutical profession. Through this theme, participants were invited to see diversity as a strength in creating collaboration and innovation in pharmacy.

The series of 71st IPSF World Congress 2026 activities consisted of Leaders in Training (LIT) Leadership Camp, Main Congress, and Post-Congress Tour. Leaders in Training (LIT) Leadership Camp served as a space for participants to develop leadership abilities, work together in teams, and prepare themselves to become future leaders in the pharmaceutical environment and pharmacy student organizations.

Meanwhile, the Main Congress presented various activities supporting academic, professional, and personal development of participants held on August 1–9, 2026. The series of activities included educational symposiums discussing pharmaceutical issues and developments, professional development competitions, interactive workshops, and various social activities. Beyond enriching participants' knowledge, these activities also provided opportunities to exchange experiences and build connections with pharmacy students from various cultural backgrounds.

Participant diversity became one of the main strengths in congress implementation. Interactions among IPSF members from various countries enabled the creation of perspective exchanges regarding pharmacy education, professional development, and challenges faced by pharmaceutical personnel in various parts of the world. Through this network, participants were hoped to bring home new insights and ideas that could be applied in their respective academic environments and organizations.

The activity series then continued with the Post-Congress Tour that provided participants with an opportunity to become better acquainted with the environment, culture, and various local experiences. This activity simultaneously served as a means to strengthen relationships among participants after the congress series concluded.

Through the 71st IPSF World Congress 2026, pharmacy students and recent graduates not only gained opportunities to develop competencies but also became part of the global pharmacy community. The spirit of “Building a Connected Future" was hoped to encourage the emergence of a generation of pharmacists who are open to diversity, actively collaborate, and dare to create various initiatives to address challenges in the pharmaceutical profession in the future.
