The series of Reception activities for new students of the Pharmacist Professional Education Program at the FF UNAIR Period 124 featured a lecture session and experience sharing with alumni as part of briefing for new students. This activity was conducted on Friday, August 7, 2026, at room 5.2 of the Nani Building, Campus C UNAIR.
During this activity, students had the opportunity to interact and listen to experiences from four FF UNAIR alumni who have worked in various professional fields. The four speakers were apt. Putu Pradnya Mimba Prameswari, S.Farm., apt. Ita Mailani, S.Farm., apt. Fatma Aldila,S.Farm., and apt. Wanda Brillianty Putri, S.Farm.
The activity proceeded in two sessions: a morning session and an afternoon session. In the morning session, presentations were delivered by apt. Putu Pradnya Mimba Prameswari, S.Farm. and apt. Fatma Aldila, S.Farm. both delivered material and shared experiences in a hybrid format, allowing students to participate directly of through an online platform.
Meanwhile, the afternoon session featured apt. Ita Mailani, S.Farm. and apt. Wanda Brillianty Putri, S.Farm. to provide presentations and share experiences with new students. The session was also conducted in a hybrid format. During this opportunity, apt. Ita Mailani, S.Farm. had the chance to be present in person at the Nani Building, enabling face-to-face interaction with Period 124 students.
Through the alumni sharing session, students gained a more realistic picture of the professional education journey and the dynamics they would face when entering the workforce as pharmacists. The alumni also shared experiences, insights, and lessons learned during their education and careers in the pharmaceutical field.
This activity became an opportunity for new students to gain practical perspectives directly from alumni who had previously undergone the journey as professional pharmaceutical personnel. These various experiences were hoped to provide motivation while helping students prepare themselves for the entire pharmacist professional education program.
