The Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science (DIF) at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), conducted new student reception activities on Thursday, August 6, 2026. This activity was part of welcoming new students and providing initial briefing before students began their academic journey at the doctoral level.
The entire series of activities was conducted at the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes (NANI) Building, Campus C UNAIR. The activities were guided by the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science, Prof. Dr. apt. Djoko Agus Purwanto, M.Si., together with the Program Secretary, apt. Suciati, S.Si., MPhil., Ph.D.
During the reception activities, new students received various important information related to the implementation of education in the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science. The information presented included program introduction, academic regulations, learning processes, and various aspects that students need to prepare during their doctoral education.
This activity was hoped to provide new students with a comprehensive understanding of the academic environment and education system in the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science at FF UNAIR. Additionally, the reception activities became a momentum for students to begin building communication and coordination with program administrators to support the smooth progress of their studies.
Through this new student reception, the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science at FF UNAIR is committed to creating an academic environment that supports the development of competencies, research capabilities, and student contributions to the advancement of pharmaceutical science. Students are expected to be able to pursue doctoral education optimally and produce innovative research that provides impact for the development of knowledge and public health.
This new student reception activity also represented an initial step for students to begin their academic journey in the Doctoral Program in Pharmaceutical Science at FF UNAIR and contribute to the development of pharmaceutical research at both national and international levels.
