Apt. Gesnita Nugraheni, S.Farm., M.S., a lecturer from FF UNAIR, participated as an oral presenter at the 20th World Congress of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (WCP) 2026. Currently, apt. Gesnita is pursuing doctoral studies at The University of Sydney, Australia.
This prestigious scientific congress took place on July 12-17, 2026, at the Melbourne Convention Centre, Australia, and was organized by the Australasian Society of Clinical and Experimental Pharmacologists and Clinical Pharmacology (ASCEPT) in collaboration with the International Union of Basic and Clinical Pharmacology (IUPHAR). WCP 2026 served as a gathering of scientists, academics, researchers, and pharmacology practitioners from various countries to share innovations and the latest developments in basic and clinical pharmacology.
During this opportunity, the lecturer affectionately known as Bu Geta presented her research titled, “Factors Influencing Psychotropic Medication Review in Australian Aged Care: Ten-Year Comparative Analysis.” This research examined various factors influencing the implementation of medication review for the use of psychotropic medications in aged care services in Australia through a ten-year comparative analysis.
Apt. Gesnita’s participation as an oral presenter at this world-scale scientific forum serves as evidence of FF UNAIR’s lecturers’ commitment to producing research relevant to global health challenges while strengthening international collaboration networks. Through dissemination of research findings at international forums, FF UNAIR continues to demonstrate its role as an institution actively contributing to the development of knowledge and innovation in the field of pharmacy.
