Lecturers from FF UNAIR are consistently active in participating in international scientific forums. Recently, several FF UNAIR lecturers participated as poster presenters at The 25th Asian Conference on Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP) 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand, on July 9-11, 2026. This prestigious conference served as a platform for academics, researchers, and clinical pharmacy practitioners from various countries to share research findings and strengthen international collaboration networks.
During this opportunity, four FF UNAIR lecturers actively participated as poster presenters:Prof. Dr. apt. Budi Suprapti, M.Si., Dr. apt. Wenny Putri Nilamsari, S.Farm., Sp.FRS., apt. Arie Sulistyarini, S.Si., M.Pharm., and Prof. Dr. apt. Yunita Nita, S.Si., M.Pharm. Their participation represented FF UNAIR’s commitment to disseminating research findings that benefit the development of pharmaceutical science and clinical pharmacy practice.
During the conference proceedings, the FF UNAIR lecturers appeared enthusiastic and spirited in presenting their scientific work to participants from various countries. Thorough preparation and high dedication to academic activities served as important assets for the lecturers to effectively present their research findings and receive various feedback from the international scientific community.
One of the research projects presented was from Prof. Yunita Nita with the title “Profile of Adherence to Oral Antidiabetic Medication at Gading Primary Health Centre Surabaya During Ramadan.” This research examined the profile of adherence to oral antidiabetic medications in diabetes mellitus patients during Ramadan at Gading Primary Health Centre, Surabaya. This topic is highly relevant considering that changes in dietary patterns and activities during Ramadan can affect patient adherence to treatment therapy.
Through the poster session, conference participants had the opportunity to directly discuss research methodology, findings, and implications of research results for clinical pharmacy practice and healthcare services. This interaction not only expanded academic insights but also opened opportunities for inter-institutional and cross-country research collaboration.
The participation of FF UNAIR lecturers supports the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 3 (Good Health and Well-being) through the development of research focused on improving healthcare service quality and rational drug use, as well as SDGs 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) through strengthening international academic collaboration and networks.
