The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) continues to expand its international networks through strategic collaboration with various educational institutions worldwide. This commitment was realized through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between FF UNAIR and Hunan University of Medicine, China, which took place on Friday, June 19, 2026, in the Leadership Conference Room of the Nani Building, Campus C UNAIR.
This cooperation agreement was signed directly by the Dean of FF UNAIR, Prof. Dr. apt. Dewi Melani Hariyadi, M.Si., and the Dean of the Institute of Biomedical Research at Hunan University of Medicine, Prof. Huang Xueshuang. The signing represented an important step in strengthening international collaboration in the field of the tri dharma (teaching, research, and community service).
The signing ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cao Liang as Vice Director of the Biomedical Research Institute at Hunan University of Medicine. Additionally, two leaders from Hunan Ronda Health Industry Development Co., Ltd. were present: Liu Xianjiu as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Lan Yangfu as Product Manager.
In a warm and collaborative atmosphere, both institutions discussed various collaboration opportunities that could be developed in the future. These include joint research implementation, exchange of academics and students, collaborative scientific publications, and development of innovations that support advances in pharmaceutical and health sciences.
This collaboration is in line with efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), through strengthening international partnerships in education and research.
