FF UNAIR and The University of Queensland Promote Master's Double Degree Program

The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) in collaboration with The University of Queensland (UQ) held a promotional and information session for the Double Degree program between UQ's Master of Pharmaceutical Industry Practice (MPIP) and FF UNAIR's Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences on April 16, 2026. The event took place in the Session Room of the Nani Building, Campus C UNAIR.

The session was attended by FF UNAIR leadership alongside Donna Guest, International Development Manager from UQ. During the event, university leaders and the UQ representative walked attendees through the double degree scheme, the selection process, and the range of career opportunities available upon completing the program.

The collaboration is designed to provide students with an international education experience by integrating the FF UNAIR Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences curriculum with UQ's Master of Pharmaceutical Industry Practice program. Through this pathway, students have the chance to gain global insight into pharmaceutical industry practice while expanding their academic and professional networks at an international level.

Throughout the session, many students currently enrolled in undergraduate and pharmacist professional programs at FF UNAIR showed strong interest in the opportunity. They actively raised questions covering academic requirements, scholarship prospects, and what studying in Australia would actually be like.

The enthusiasm in the room was clear from the lively discussion that ran throughout the event. Students expressed genuine interest in pursuing the double degree program as part of their early preparation for postgraduate study and as a way to sharpen their competence in pharmacy on a global stage.
