The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) welcomed an educational visit from students of SMA Muhammadiyah Program Khusus (PK) Kottabarat Surakarta on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. The event was held in the First Floor Hall of the Nani Building, Campus C UNAIR, and attended by around 150 participants consisting of 11th-grade students and their accompanying teachers.
The group was welcomed by the Vice Dean I of FF UNAIR, Prof. apt. Helmy Yusuf, S.Si., M.Sc., Ph.D. In his remarks, he expressed appreciation for the visit and gave a brief introduction to the academic environment at FF UNAIR.
Following the welcome session, the program continued with a presentation on FF UNAIR's profile, delivered by the Head of the Student Affairs Subdivision, Adinugraha Fajar Raharja, S.Hum., M.Hum. During this session, participants received an overview of the various study programs, learning facilities, student activities, and available pathways for new student admissions.
The atmosphere throughout the event was lively and interactive. Students appeared enthusiastic from start to finish, as evidenced by the many questions they raised, ranging from admission requirements at FF UNAIR to career prospects for pharmacy graduates across various sectors including industry, hospitals, research, and academia.
The visit is hoped to broaden the students' understanding of higher education and motivate them to pursue further studies, particularly in the field of pharmacy. This activity also aligns with SDG 4 on Quality Education.
