The Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) recently welcomed three students from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, Brunei, for an internship program. The program represents one of many international academic initiatives aimed at broadening students' knowledge and experience in pharmacy through direct exposure to an academic environment.
The three students participating in the program were Rasyiqah binti Nazri, Nur Amira Safura Binti Awang Adam, and Muhammad Dannial Faizzuddin Bin Abdullah. Throughout their time at Universitas Airlangga, all three had the opportunity to be directly involved in a range of academic activities at FF UNAIR.
During the program, the students took part in activities at the pharmacy laboratories, joined several lecture classes, and participated in practicum sessions held at FF UNAIR. Through these activities, they were able to learn about various teaching methods, laboratory practices, and research approaches applied within the FF UNAIR academic setting.
The internship program proved to be a valuable learning experience for the students from Universiti Brunei Darussalam, allowing them to broaden their academic horizons while gaining international exposure in pharmacy education. It also helped strengthen the academic ties and knowledge exchange between the two higher education institutions in Southeast Asia.
Through this initiative, the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR reaffirms its commitment to supporting international collaboration and fostering an inclusive, globally oriented learning environment. The program also aligns with efforts to advance SDG 4, which calls for ensuring quality, inclusive, and equitable education for all.
