
The Faculty of Pharmacy at Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) received an academic visit from Prof. Ligong Chen, a professor in the field of pharmacology and toxicology from Tsinghua University, China. The visit, which took place on April 22, 2026, served as an important opportunity to strengthen international networks while opening possibilities for strategic collaboration in pharmaceutical education and research.
During this agenda, Prof. Ligong Chen was warmly welcomed by the Dean of FF UNAIR along with the faculty leadership team. This visit came with a clear purpose. Prof. Ligong Chen was present to explore collaboration opportunities with FF UNAIR, particularly in the development of academic and research fields.
During the discussions that took place, both parties explored various possibilities for collaboration that could be developed in the future. Topics ranged from exchanges of academics and students, research collaboration, to the development of joint programs that would support advances in pharmaceutical science.
Additionally, the meeting also provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange perspectives on research developments in the fields of pharmacology and toxicology, as well as opportunities for collaboration in research with global impact.
Through this visit, FF UNAIR hopes to expand its international networks while strengthening research and academic collaboration with world-class educational institutions. This effort is also in line with the university's commitment to supporting global collaboration in order to enhance the quality of education, research, and innovation in the pharmaceutical field.
