
Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) received a visit from PT. Cosmax Indonesia on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. The event took place in the Main Meeting Room of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building, Campus C, Universitas Airlangga.
Representatives from PT. Cosmax Indonesia in attendance included Mr. Youngkwan Cho (General Manager of Research and Innovation/RNI), Ms. Yumi Choi (Team Leader of Base Make Up), Anastasia Noeng (Unit Leader of RNI Raw Material), and several staff members. The global cosmetics industry delegation was welcomed by the Vice Dean I of FF UNAIR, along with lecturers, as well as the Chair, Secretary, and several members of the PUI-PT SCT UNAIR.
The meeting took place in a warm and productive atmosphere, focusing on potential strategic collaborations in research and education. The discussion covered opportunities for research collaboration and synergies in strengthening student competencies through the involvement of industry practitioners.
On this occasion, PT. Cosmax Indonesia opened internship opportunities for FF UNAIR students as a form of support for improving skills and industry experience. Furthermore, they also openly welcomed the Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR's visit to PT. Cosmax Indonesia. This is in line with the study excursion program routinely run by Faculty of Pharmacy UNAIR as part of strengthening students' industrial knowledge.

On this occasion, a team from PT. Cosmax Indonesia was also invited to tour several laboratories within the Faculty of Pharmacy, UNAIR. This activity served as an opportunity to introduce the faculty's research and development facilities and to open up opportunities for more concrete collaboration in the future.
This visit marked the beginning of a sustainable collaboration between Faculty of Pharmacy and PT. Cosmax Indonesia. Going forward, this collaboration between the two parties is expected to have a positive impact on the development of science, the cosmetics industry, and improving the quality of Faculty of Pharmacy, UNAIR graduates. This aligns with SDGs 17 "Partnership for the Goals."
