Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR) welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, on February 24, 2026. The event, held in the 2nd-floor Meeting Room of the Nanizar Zaman Joenoes Building, marked a significant milestone in strengthening academic relations between institutions in the Southeast Asian region.
The Chulalongkorn University delegation was welcomed by the leadership and academic community of FF UNAIR, consisting of the Dean, Heads of Departments, Study Program Coordinators, Head of PUI-PT SCT, Head of Research Centers, and Heads of Research Groups within FF UNAIR.
The event began with a brief presentation on the profiles of each institution. FF UNAIR representatives provided an overview of their history, academic achievements, educational programs, and various leading research activities that support the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Meanwhile, representatives from the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chulalongkorn University, also presented the faculty's development, research focuses, and established international collaboration networks.
The discussion was warm and constructive. The two parties discussed various potential strategic collaborations to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma (Three Pillars of the Indonesian National University), including joint research collaborations, lecturer and student exchanges, scientific publications, and academic program development and community service.
The presence of the Head of PUI-PT SCT, heads of research centers, and research groups enriched the discussion, particularly in identifying overlapping research areas and concrete collaboration opportunities. This meeting is expected to foster a sustainable partnership that will improve the quality of education and research, as well as contribute significantly to society at the regional and global levels.
This visit also affirmed FF UNAIR's commitment to supporting the achievement of SDGs 17, "Partnership for the Goals."
