
Prof. Marcellino Rudyanto Attends MURI Record Registration & SNI Cosmetic Launch and Signs Cooperation Agreement with BPOM
Prof. Drs. apt. Marcellino Rudyanto, M.Si., Ph.D., attended the MURI Record-Breaking as a Comparative Standard Producer and the Launch of the Indonesian National Standard (SNI) for Cosmetics. This prestigious event was held at the Bhinneka Tunggal Ika Building, Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BPOM) in Jakarta.
Prof. Marcellino Rudyanto was present as the Head of the joint research project on comparative standard compounds between the Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) and the National Center for Drug and Food Testing Development (PPPOMN). His involvement is crucial in the development of national comparative standards that support the improvement of the quality and safety of cosmetic products in Indonesia.
This event not only marked a national achievement through the breaking of the MURI Record, but also marked a milestone in the launch of the SNI for Cosmetics as a new standard that will strengthen the national cosmetics industry.
In addition to attending the main series of activities, Prof. Marcellino Rudyanto also signed a cooperation contract to accelerate the fulfillment of comparative standards as a form of ongoing commitment to research collaboration between FF UNAIR and BPOM. This collaboration is expected to strengthen research capacity, enhance innovation, and encourage Indonesia's independence in providing quality benchmarks.
The presence and contribution of Prof. Marcellino Rudyanto further emphasizes the active role of Faculty of Medicine UNAIR in supporting the development of science and technology in the pharmaceutical and national cosmetics industries.
