Vice Dean III of Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga, Attends the ASEAN PharmNET Deans' Summit in Vietnam
Vice Dean III of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universitas Airlangga (FF UNAIR), apt. Elida Zairina, S.Si., MPH., Ph.D., FISQua., representing the Dean of FF UNAIR attended the invitation to the ASEAN PharmNET Deans’ Summit. This activity took place on November 6–8, 2025 at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy (CTUMP), Vietnam.
The ASEAN PharmNET Deans’ Summit is a prestigious forum that brings together deans and representatives of pharmacy faculties from various leading universities in Southeast Asia. This forum provides a platform for leaders in higher education in pharmacy to share knowledge, experiences, and best practices in faculty management, as well as to strengthen cross-border collaboration for the advancement of pharmacy education, practice, and research in Southeast Asia.
This year's agenda includes four main activities, namely, 1) Sharing best practices in faculty management; 2) Strategic planning leading to the US-ASEAN Pharmaceutical Consortium; 3) Planning of the ASEAN PharmNET 2026 Scientific Conference; and 4) Networking activities between institutions.
Interestingly, this year's meeting was also attended by representatives from leading pharmaceutical faculties in the United States that are members of the US-ASEAN Pharmaceutical Consortium. They actively participated in various discussion sessions and strategic planning.
The presence of FF UNAIR in this forum demonstrates a strong commitment to expanding its international network and playing an active role in efforts to advance pharmaceutical education and research at the global level, particularly in the Southeast Asia region.
