UNAIR Faculty of Pharmacy Lecturer Becomes Panelist at the 2025 Asian Pharmacy Summit in Manila
The Faculty of Pharmacy, Airlangga University (FF UNAIR) has once again achieved a proud achievement on the international stage. One of the lecturers, Dr. apt. Abdul Rahem, M.Kes., was appointed as a panelist at the prestigious Asian Pharmacy Summit on Universal Healthcare organized by the Federation of Asian Pharmaceutical Associations (FAPA). This event will take place on October 24–26, 2025 in Manila, Philippines.
In the forum, Dr. Abdul Rahem presented material on the theme "Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and the Role of Pharmacists in Indonesia". He explained various strategies and policies that have been implemented in Indonesia to support the achievement of health coverage, and emphasized the important role of pharmacists as health workers who contribute directly to the national health service system.
Dr. Participation Abdul Rahem's participation in this international activity is concrete evidence of the UNAIR Faculty of Pharmacy's role in supporting the improvement of its academic and professional reputation at the global level. In addition to expanding collaborative networks, the activity also serves as a forum for sharing knowledge between pharmaceutical practitioners and academics from various Asian countries.
